Postgraduate Course

Hi evgeryone! Is me, after a since few weeks without writing. The topic for this blog it look me by surprise because the only I want is finish my studies. I can’t imagine 3 years more. But if I have to choose I do the course “Áreas silvestres y conservación de la naturaleza”.

This course is the Universidad de Chile, faculty of ciencias forestales y conservación de la naturaleza. I don’t thing is the best idea studies the postgraduate course in the same university that you graduete. But I look the postgraduate course in other universities, like Universidad Austral and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and their subject and no one catch my attention.  This universities have a focus more for production or somethings like that.  

I like the course in this faculty because have interesting subject like “Modelación de la distriución de especies” , “Visión cultural de la naturaleza”, “Taller de ecosistemas glaciares” or “Planificación de uso y conservación de ecosistemas naturales”. It would be amazing to this course in other region where is more close up whit the nature and where I can meet other vision, other person, other ideas.

Well, I hope keep studying, not necessary with a formal postgraduate course but always learn something new about this career. See you the next Friday, or not.  Goodbye

My favourite piece of technology

I remember when I was child use computer for play The Sims, so hours playing this, there was still no internet, or it was common. Now I use for see movies, works, study, talks with my friends, buy things, send email, see my marks . Because I don't have smartphone I use all the time, in the university and my house. Since ever I like it because is a multifunctional, I can works o lost time, also have a good charasteristic, can be added any extention, like HDD, programs, etc.

Today I will be so limited without computer, because is my bridge to comunication with pepople who are far and my tool to study.

THE BEST HOLIDAY

Since I was in university I go to practice ever summer. In 2017 I was to practice in Frutillar, Los Lagos for two weeks. There visited so many places and doing so many things, one time, we have to size a river throw a orange and count the time! Was so funny, some orange never was found.  

When the practice was finish I travel to south of Chile with two friends. We go to Pumalín National Park, Chaitén volcano, Amarillo and Futaleufú, there was no day was no beautiful, no matter if it rains, it sunny or cloudy, each places was a work of art.

After one week travel to my friend I welcome to home. Maybe, someone remember in that year Chile had a big fires. So, I work like a firewoman but in the forest, it seems so interesting and danger but I only was one time to fire hahahaha.

In summary, I was stay one week in my house in all summer, I meet so many people and learn so kind of things.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Hello everyone! Today I will talk about the country I’d like to visit. To be honest is hard answer this question because have so many countries this word, for be more specific have 194!

So this time I choose a country random of the Oceania, this continent has 14 countries and a few are known like Australia and New Zealand. Fiji takes my attention for their funny name and I think hear this place in a movie, book or something like that.

I don’t know anything about the place so this make so interesting what kind of thing I ‘will know, like food, custom, kind of people, religions or language, I don’t even know what language they speak.

The only I know is when I will there visit all nationals parks and naturals reserves, try every food have not meat, learn all I can and take so many pictures.

If I have the opportunity to stay in Fiji for a 1 or 2 years, study or work, I will take because  I could really know the custom and meet so many people.  

The last blog

Today I write my last blog for the English class. So I will talk about my experience.

Before the blog I never write in internet, only in the post of photo in Instagram or Facebook, but is not so long text like the post. So, this is a new experience for me, and like all in this live, have good and bad things.

Each post give me a diferent experience. Some have a good topics, so I enjoy write and read post for my classmates, but others, frankly, did bored.

The positive side is this help us for practice redact and get vocabulary. The negative side is not all post are corrected, only a few, I understand why is not posible corrected every post for everyone, teacher have a limited time.

I thing the read is important for learn implicit how redact in English. First, text how to be shorts but interesting and this way will be enjoy for us. After, have to be more long, like post, in the next always write ten more words.

My favorite movie

Today I will talk about my favorite movie, iis a really hard decition because I love movies. Since I will child I see movies in the TV whith my sister. When I grow up I see movies in the computer, so I can choose it. In the first time I see movies whit the typical topic, the happy end, the history about love and all that things. Over time I meet the “cult cinema”, the movies how talk about polemic topics or the present a history in a way far from aesthetic or narrative conventions. The more popular cult movies are Pulp fiction, The mechanical orange, Reservoir Dogs and others.

But this time I choose Django unchained, is about a slave how is free and want revenge. The director is Tarantino, a genius, who makes so many good movies like pulp fiction, the 8 most hated, kill bill vol 1 and 2 and inglourious basterds. I see in the first time in a 2017 summer, and I fall in love because the dialogue, the camera, the blood, all is magic and transport another world. I see only one time because I don’t like see movies two or more times haha

  

My favorite tree

 Today I will talk about my favorite tree, this is a hard questions a for a forestry studenty hahaha. All the tree or plant has something special, for their flower, morphology or physiognomy, like fern, mosses or mushroomns. But, this time I choose the Nothofagus alessandri or Ruíl ¿Why I choose the Ruíl?

 Ruíl is a three more threaten in Chile because their distribution is so small, it lives only in the Región del Maule, exactly in Cauquenes, Chile, this zone is constantly affected whit the forest fire and the past are exploited. For this reason the population of Ruíl is in the Reservation Los Ruiles.

 The red levees fall out in autumn, designing a beautiful landscape. Their wood is an excellent quality for its resistance to debt, which is why it was exploited in the past. This kind of forestry is hard to classify because don’t enter in the technical regulation for the CONAF, but the most close is the Roble – Hualo.

  

A place I would like to visit

This time I will write about a place I would like to visit. It a hard decition because all places have somthing nice, like lanscape, culture, architecture or other characteristic. However, one place have someone really special for me, my sister.

Since one year my sister Paulina is a postulant to sister, like nun. In the first time she live in Santiago, specifically in convent of the Little sisters of the Lamb. In April of this year she travel to Saint-Pierre, Francis, there is a “the family home”, a place where live the community and learn to live simply and poorly, and all this things.

I want to go there and hug and kiiss my sister, know how is the place that speaks so much. And honestly I love the way the French speak hahaha. If some day I travel to France I will post the esperience. See u!

A photograph I like

Hi everyone! The photography is a art, can capture a moment, a sensation or to transmit a sensation. One photo can say a thousand words. This time I choose this photography because represent the last years in the high school.  Every year in my high school, Liceo Lenka Franulic, have a “kermese”, where there are games, food and a dancing contest for class. This year the thematic are “Países del mundo”, each class has one country and ours was Nigeria. My class didn’t wanted dance, because is bored or anyway we are going to lose. So, whit my close friends decide organize. Before the presentation we were very nervous, a friendly teacher gave us encouragement and take this photo.  Finally the show has nice and we won the competition. I like this moment because it reminds me beautiful experience with my friends and teachers, all the laughter and jokes J     

                                               

Why did you choose this career?

All my live I was interested in social jobs, help people, do something for the people. I dream about be nurse, trip a countries of Africa, something like that.  In the hight school I want to study psychology because the way it works the brains always caption my atention, and with this knowledge I can help people. But , like any dream have but, I don’t have the requirements for enter in psychology in the university that wanted, so I thing  Which others thing I like? In the college always have good marks in math, but the jobs like accountant or engineer are so bored. A one day I was know to existence a forestry so I thinking, I was scout, I like go out and to visit hills  Why not?

Since the fisrt class I was falling in love because have all I want, maths, nature and I can help people and the earth. Forestry knowledge lets you works in so many things, in the social area, scientific or some midpoint. With all this option I don’t really know where I will work.       

My autobiography

She is Gloria Anfruns, is twenty-one years old and study forestry.

 Is a part of a big family, her father, Carlos, is a lawyer, a nice man, sometimes a angry men, he loves Paulina, Gloria’s mon, and she loves her. Paulina is a happy person, her meet aCarlos r in the university.

She have four brothres Carlos, Carolina, Paulina and Jose. In her free time play guitar, read books, see  friend and wach movies. She try to learn and do new things, like piano, Paint , embroider, visite new places but the time is limited.

Since 1997, when she born, Gloria lives  in Santiago, but her dream is to visite another places to choose where he really like to live whit the future family. This does not mean she don't like Santiago, all yor memories and  friends live here, this persons make nice any place.
